LGBTQIA+ Counselling

"To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"

Oscar Wilde

I am proud to offer counselling sessions for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.  Whether you are questioning, facing discrimination, victimisation or suffering rejection, you are free to discuss and explore the difficulties you are experiencing.

My practice with regard to LGBTQIA+ counselling is informed by my lived experience as well as having supported family members and those in my social group through questioning, acceptance, and transitions, giving me an understanding of the challenges facing the community.

I am a cis-gendered female, bisexual and my pronouns are she/her.

I have a current Children's and Vulnerable Adults' DBS with List Check, which are both on the update service; this means I am checked against the barred list on a weekly basis and a full DBS check is undertaken every 9 months.  I have had my DBS' in place since 2014 & 2020, respectively.
