My Specialisms

While I work with clients who bring a variety of issues to therapy, my diverse career has led me to have specific interests, knowledge and, therefore, specialism in some areas that are discussed on the pages from the sub-menu to the left.

For my general practice, I am an integrative counsellor and primarily work with a person-centred, humanistic approach. I believe you are the expert in you and my role is more of a guide than an authority on every aspect of mental wellness and distress. I am committed to your right to make your decisions about your life, and I will facilitate your movement from mental distress to mental wellness.

Being integrative means I can employ techniques such as solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, mindfulness, journaling, or meditation. Which methods we use depend on you and your decision about what is best for you.
